Environmental

BCEP Environmental Initiatives’

Bradford Community Environmental project have done a number of projects in the community. A popular initiative is the ‘women’s food growing project’ and gardening for health project.

At our projects we use gardening to help our local people improve their health and wellbeing, increase their confidence and provide the opportunity for them to learn new skills. BEAP feel it is important to help older people with mental health problems and other disabilities, regain confidence, build self esteem and motivation, feel better physically and mentally and create new social networks.
